It's 2011 already!

This blog is severely neglected. 'nuff said. Well, wait, I will say a little more. First, there there will be more to come since there will be some major changes happening in 2011 and thus, this lovely cottage will be seeing some changes too (no, I am not pregnant!). Stay tuned (to those of you who have stuck around this utterly boring blog!).

Also, happy new year!

Hello - I've been googling "hallway paint colors" and came upon your blog. Oh goodness, I love your bungalow! Specifically, I wondered about paint colors. Yeah, in the hallway! I am looking for a warm gray/brown, not too dark, and yours caught my eye. Thanks for any info. Looks like you may live in Seattle - I am over here on Bainbridge Island. Regards, Barbara Livdahl

Thanks for the nice comment Barbara! The paint I used was from Devine Paint. http://www.devinecolor.com/

The hallway color was Moss. I love Devine paint's rich colors. I don't really have a warm/gray brown painted in my house. Just a darker brown in my living room, and a beige in my dining room (soon to change though).

I'm hoping to start updating this blog more, as my husband and I will be making more changes in the coming months. We don't live in Seattle, but north of Seattle. : ) I love Bainbridge Island. So pretty.

Thank you so much for the info. I love Devine paint as well. I am going from white walls and blue carpet (from 1988) to hardwood floors and colors on the walls, yahoo! I'll be checking into your blog from time to time. Thanks again.

PS: It is hard to see colors online so your hallway did look a little gray/brown! But no matter what, I like it. And I loved all the paint samples painted here there and everywhere. That'll be me shortly...
